Situated near National Institute of Design, it is easily accessible from Paldi crossing and railway station. Its more like an cultural art center where one showcase their exhibitions . This museum was designed by french architect Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris in 1951. Kite museum is also situated in this building ground floor. This museum have lot of collection of art and culture of ahmedabad city.

Sanskar kendra is one other name of city museum situated at paldi. Its closed on Monday. Open for all, no entry fees and in the same building kite museum is also there. It was designed by a French architect Le Corbusier.

A very exhaustive museum showing such wide variety of subjects from early Indian rockets to ancient excavated sculptures to rich traditions culture and religion.......however it is in serious need of repairs and revamp...it is sad to see these ancient sculptures covered in thick layer of dust......needs to be rejuvenated by govt.....

Visit this place if you have some spare time in Ahmedabad and are done with rest of your to do list. Its a huge museum and needs couple of hours. It used to be a great cultural centre of the city. Now nothing to see except dilapidated kites exhibitions.

Sanskar Kendra is a Museum at end of Sardar Bridge near Paladi. Museum is built in Red Bricks so nice looking from Outside. There are various sections in museum related to History of Ahmedbad, Photography,Art, Mahatma Gandhi, Indian Indepenance Struggle and Various Religious Community of Ahmedabad.
