Lukshmi Villas Palace is the Official residence of the Maharaja Of Baroda.The royal family still resides in this magnificent palace builtin 1889.A part of the palace is open for visitors during the day 10 am to 5 pm. Mondays is the weekly off day. Weekends can get crowded , so best to come on any other day.The ticket cost Rs. 200 And it includes a complimentary audio tour guide in either english , hindi & marathi.Photographs inside the palace are not permitted. The tour takes about an hour. Water & other cold beverages are available at a charge for visitors.

It's the official residence of The throned king of Vadodara! Some part of it is open for public. The architecture is wonderful, there is a souvenir shop also, lush green lawns, fountains...

They have maintained this palace so nicely that I just didn't wanna leave. They give you this music player with directions of various places near and inside the palace. The audio explains the historical significance, the stories of that place and lots of interesting stuff....More

A must visit place being in Vadodara. It's a wonderful palace and well maintained too. There's a cafe in the palace next to Darbar hall. The audio guide provides every minute detail of the palace architecture, weapons and the artifacts.

Laxmi Vilas Palace is a Historic Palace of Residence of Kings ruled in Gujarat. Huge Space, well maintained lush green gardens around palace, Palace Architecture is wonderful. We will never find such a awesome palace in life. Must visit place for all tourist.

It's a must if you have been to Vadodara, it's very artistic and beautiful palace. It has the concept of Hindu, Sikh, Christ and Muslim architecture. It is the best example of IndoItalian architectural monument. Art lovers, photographers will love this place !

Hello. Tickets can only be purchased at the kiosk just in front of the actual palace building. If you can't easily find it, then most of the staff can at least point you in the right direction. Cost is around 150-200 INR... More
