You should only go when the road just opens....otherwise you will find very less & dirty snow which is of no use.....these days there are no adventure activities available at rohtang pass.....no snak shops nothing.....just waste of money...time.....and you will be disappointed.....

No pass is required for Rohtang. Shared taxis are easily available from Manali

Rent a bike only if you are a seasoned traveler otherwise get a car with a driver. Share it with some one otherwise the cost will be much higher. If you take the car option, they will arrange for all the permits on the way... More
