Within Manali old town area.where all the surrounding buildings are architecturally interesting, crafted from cedarwood and stone ,as is this. The very building materials lend a rustic ,peaceful ambience to the whole of the old town area.
Well worth strolling around at leisure, sit and contemplate.

Personally, I enjoy this temple more than the ever-popular Habimba Devi. It generally feels quieter and I enjoy its location in Old Manali. It also has a unique architecture, photography is not allowed inside.

The temple is around 1.6 kms from Hidimba Devi temple. The auto charges whooping Rs.200 to go to this temple. We were having time hence decided to walk towards this temple. The way goes through some market area which then gets steeper and steeper. I made good decision to leave my car at Mall parking as road is quite narrow and steepest along with shops on both side plus there is only one private parking area that too for limited cars near temple else one cannot park neither can take U turn.

The way towards temple has lot of hippie style cafes and Tatto shops. There are many shops selling leather items.

The main temple is situated on small area where the environment is calm inside the main sanctum. Suggest to visit this temple only if you have time and ready to walk.

This temple is about 5 kms from Mall Road. The village and the old houses around the temple are very scenic. The temple is a good example of the typical temple architecture found in Himachal Pradesh.
Best to visit early morning, when you will not be disturbed by vehicles trying to squeeze thorough the narrow lanes.

The temple is in the middle of old Manali town. It opens really early, which is very good as you have to negotiate through a market with single lane road. God forbid if any vehicle comes from opposite side !! We visited early, around 6:30am. Empty roads and really helpful people to guide you through. The metal sculptures of deities are beautiful. Though it’s in middle of city, mornings are serene and calm.

The temple is to be reached by somewhat steep road up ...but not verydifficult. In fact ,we can enjoy the uphill walk watching the shops and places on way. It is said that the temple for Manu is a very rare one. Very pleasant temple ambiance. Lovely view of mountains from the temple arena.

Situated in old Manali at a distance of 3 km from the mall road, this temple is dedicated to the sage Manu. The sage, who wrote Manusmriti, is believed to be the creator of the world. The temple is believed to be the place where sage Manu meditated.

The surrounding of the temple has an old flavor and thus its very crowded. The temple can be easily accessed by auto or taxi. We visited the temple by walk. On the way to there are number of food joints.
