Located in a serene and calm place amidst a clump of tall ever-green trees, this temple mad of wood panels was full of local worshipers when we visited. The holy tree appeared to be adorned with colourful stripes of clothes with coins made for vows.

It's a nice place with historical values. We were fascinated to see the Temple of Hidimba which we read in Mahabharata and also the Ghototkoch tree. It's a must visit place in Manali. Not far from Mall road

Manali has always been an alternative to the film industry here in Mumbai, who cannot go to Kashmir. This place reminds me of the movie Roja by Mani Ratnam. The place from where the hero kets kidnapped by the so called Kashmiri terrorists. Jokes apart. One of the few temples in India with Pagoda style and dedicated to the demon... More

The temple, in worship of the giantess Hadimba is located on a small incline in the midst of picturesque evergreen trees. It is made of wood, and some of the panels outside the temple are intricately carved. The deity itself is not much to write home about. Definitely worth visiting when in Manali!
