A nice drive from Srinagar. A beautiful place ....calm and serene. Lot of apple orchids, almond gardens on the way.

Yousmarg is totally different terrain. Its a meadow and not exactly a valley. You will find lots of pine trees and apple trees. There is a lake too there. Really a nice and different place.

Same like allover kashmir you need bargaining capacity to go for the pony ride , you need to pay like 1500 per person for the ride for three hours , with out the ride you will not see anything

If you want to avoid the smell of horse excreta...Go to Yusmarg. No Doubt Gulmarg has better infrastructure... but it looks gorgeous only in winters...
