Loved the view and the serenity there. Want to visit it again. Saw the top view of the lake from Nishat garden, which was absolutely amazing.

The lake is best view in the night especially if you can get a top view if you can get to stay at one of the mountain hotel.

It is the greatest attraction of Srinagar. There are houseboats one one side and on the other side are shikaras where you can enjoy boating. The lake is huge and if one wants to experience peace and tranquility, u gotto take a shikara ride.

there's nothing quite like a shikara ride on Daal Lake. Best if this is part of your stay in a house boat (we loved our time in the houseboat Acropolis). It's a beautiful place. We were blessed with a somewhat warm sunny day in October.

Hi! Yes, it’s accessible in December and the real ‘heavy’ snowfall is more towards the later part of January. Just make sure you stay in a good hotel which can take care of your requirements at that time.
