The views from up top are incredible but the guards confiscate your phones and cameras so no photos allowed. I didn't like this because much of the top is outside of the temple proper and no reason to ban cameras. Still worth the drive and...More

We hiked up the stairs with our 4 year old girls. They picked up sticks and pine cones on the way. With stops in between, they were able to make it up on their own. Beautiful view once you reach the top.

Its tiresome to reach there. You need to climb a lot of stairs. The temple is not very big but it has a very old facade. The views are amazing but you cannot take any electronics with you.

It's ancient shiv temple in srinagar hence guarded by BSF. It's on a hill so have to climb the stairs after you reach BSF post. View is awesome as it's in the centre of Srinagar. Must go in srinagar

Just came back from the City. It is absolutely not safe right now. I would say not this year atleast. City has been under curfew from last 80 days and nothing is operating at all.
