this is polluted lake.the waste comes from dal lake and surrounding houses .i dont know why the tourism department neglecting this lake.if maintenance is good this is going to be good lake.

Anchar Lake was very dirty during our visit. No proper care was taken from the government officials to clean it. It is becoming dirty and dirty day by day.

Every body who visits Kashmir happens to visit the dal Lake . Dal is connected to Nigeen by a narrow nullah route , we requested our shikara guide to take us further into this lake. As he was from the community whose forefathers resided there...More

This is one of the most beautiful lakes among other lakes in Kashmir. One of the biggest water body and wet land in kashmir

Our valley of kashmir was always an agricultural based economy and srinagar mostly as tourist hub, but they very people who earn from these lakes are trying to covert these waterbodies into there lawns for houseboats and decade later a hotel would be constructed on...More

Once a beautiful lake within the Srinagar City, has turned into marshy land with plenty of houses and buildings built over it illegally. Perhaps the government bodies responsible to keep the lakes safe and clean are responsible.......
