This is one place you don't want to miss in Ladakh. Forget Pangong which I found to be highly hyped up. Tsomoriri has the pristine beauty which is the characteristic of Ladakh. Just pray that you get a sunny day to enjoy to the fullest.

The best lake I had seen. Crystal clear waters free from any pollution. The whole lake is surrounded by mountains covered by snow. A Panoramic view. All the beauty of the lake lies in the curve it takes looks so feminine and exquisite. Cool climate perfect place to refresh your body and soul.

Easily the highlight of the trip. Tso moriri just set a bar of ecstacy that nothing else came close. Pristine water, cool breeze...it's like having a lake for yourself. It's a little further from leh than probably a pangong tso, but more than compensates for it with breathtaking beauty. The lake seems to change color, we saw quite a few... More

Best lake in ladakh, clean and void of much crowd. Went on a full moon and were mesmerised by the view. Electricity in the region is available between 730 pm to 1100 pm IST. At a high altitude, may require acclimatisation.

Mesmerizing, enchanting and truly magical. Or we can say nature at its best. When you get to Tso Moriri, You feel like you are in a different world. It's so pure. Tso Moriri is around 250 Kms from Leh. The way is also beautiful. The rivers, small bridges, mountains. It's all picturesque. I have never witnessed a place so peaceful... More

Tso Moriri is a smaller, cleaner, quieter and more peaceful lake as compared to Pangong Tso. This is because this place receives much lesser crowd. the water is absolutely blue n refreshing. The route is scenic and a pleasure to be around here. I would recommend you to take the Leh -Manali highway and reach Tso Moriri. This way you... More

Tso Moriri or Lake Moriri Tibetan: is a lake in the Ladakhi part of the Changthang Plateau in Jammu and Kashmir in northern India. It's far from Leh but very good scenic beauty around lake.

The road leads to Tso moriri is very lonely, full of rocks. But once you reach you are awestruck. Peaceful, no crowd, a perfect blue lake. This is world's highest salt water lake at 14836 ft.

One of the most beautiful places in Ladakh. The place has few visitors but the construction activity contributed to the pollution in the lake. The drive from Tso Morori to Sarchu is just out of the world. You get to see 2 more lakes and with no habitation en route, except for 1 or 2 small hamlets, you feel as... More
