We visited the lake in the peak of summer and the whole lake was frozen. We walked on the lake a bit because it was tooooo cold. But the feeling was fantastic and unforgettable.

In winters there are no accommodation available except for home stays, While the place is beautiful in summers in winters there is a different kind of Natural beauty in its bleakness and frozen waters

While passing through the awe inspiring Himalayan mountain ranges from Srinagar to Leh , I understood why The Himalayas are referred to as Majestic and Regal. The sheer magnitude, colours and sculpturing by rivers is mesmerising. It reminded me of Grand Canyon that is sculpted by wind. The drive of 540 [apprx] km stretch dotted by rivers is undoubtedly one... More

This lake is mesmerizing in its beauty and blueness. I wish that its beauty not be destroyed by the inconsiderate tourists.

Pangong Tso is just stunningly beautiful. Unfortunately, it is becoming quite commercial, and in India that generally means it is slowly becoming polluted, :(

worth much more than every jerk and every bump and every neck breaking fall in the taxi. see it and fall in love. so pure and so serene, its gentleness is seducitve to make one want to just sit with feet in the cold water forever.

What a beautiful lake, Color of water change according to sun light, lake surrounded by mountain looks very beautiful. Its beauty cannot be expressed in word and this lake is beyond rating. It is salted lake. It is 4 to 5 hour drive from Leh. This lake is one of the world highest lake.

Beautiful view of blue water in the desert at an unbelievable altitude. Overpriced guest houses and tents. Destroyed by tourism, but without it we would not have been able to get there and stay there without it. Heard about the movie three idiots only after having been. It brings in a lot of local tourists. The lake itself was amazing!
