This is by far the biggest lake I have ever visited - a spread of 130 km from india where we see a small part to China. Avoid monsoons as the accommodations are not comfortable and fully geared.

The lake is beautiful but not the absolute highlight of Ladakh as it is made out to be. Lot of resorts/ tent camps have sprung up making it crowded.
