Good for kids ...

This is a good place kids to have an intro with airplanes ... They shall enjoy the stuff, if they are having an even slightest possible inclination towards science stuff!!

Truly HAL museum is best place to those who love aircrafts. It consists of two halls (Hall 1,2) and many different varieties of real aircraft models are showcased Outside which have served our country in combats . Having loved fighter planes from childhood, visiting this museum which claims to be first of its kind in India was only a given. This is a must visit place to understand to evolution of fighter planes in india and the role of Indian companies in the helping develop it over the years.. This place is really good and informative. Very famous with children and people interested in aviation field. Huge models of the various defense plane and couple of indoor museums. Good visit for couple of hours.

One of the few places unknown to Bangaloreans, great place to visit when accompanied by young ones or even when you are not . very easily accessible and no crowd at all .. thats some thing not common in Bangalore. This place is fabulous and must visit, either you have an interest in air crafts or not. During my first visit, I was actually thrilled posing in front of those fighter planes. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited(HAL)Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum,the first of its kind in India was established in the year 2001 at HAL Airport Road about 10 kms. from Bengaluru City Railway Station.The Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum is spread over 4 acres of lush green land.
