This place is really good and informative. Very famous with children and people interested in aviation field. Huge models of the various defense plane and couple of indoor museums. Good visit for couple of hours.

One of the few places unknown to Bangaloreans, great place to visit when accompanied by young ones or even when you are not . very easily accessible and no crowd at all .. thats some thing not common in Bangalore. This place is fabulous and must visit, either you have an interest in air crafts or not. During my first visit, I was actually thrilled posing in front of those fighter planes. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited(HAL)Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum,the first of its kind in India was established in the year 2001 at HAL Airport Road about 10 kms. from Bengaluru City Railway Station.The Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum is spread over 4 acres of lush green land.

Its a place for both children as well as adults, one can see the history of aeronautics here a great place for collection of aged old aircraft to modern aircraft and their elaborated history

It's a nice place given that you rarely find museums dedicated to aerospace. The place is maintained well and has a decent garden to rest. It's pretty small and won't be tiring for kids.
