How did they make a cave temple under ground which 1000 years ago could take you 700 kilometers to another temple of Lord Shiva at Varanasi is amazing. The Best Cave Temple in Bangalore - Must see.

Its a cave temple. The walk in is exciting and an experience. The construction is unique and the style is unique. Visit it in the morning when the sunrays just starts shining on the temple.

Oldest temple in bengaluru...very famous for the sun directly falling on shivalinga once in a year...visited by thousands of people everyday...must visit temple

This is a very simple temple located in one of the very traditional neighbourhoods of the city. The Shiva trident plays with the sun. Really nice morning visit. There is a dhobi ghat not too far.

Popular with locals, not as much with tourists. Ancient cave temple with lot of history. A must visit for every localite and tourist alike. The auto rickshaws here can be less than friendly, do preplan your commute vehicle, there will be limited parking as well....More

Yup. It's open on all days. I would guess that it will be open during morning hours from 9am-1pm and again in the evening from 4-8pm. I had visited after 4 pm. So I don't know correctly the timings. U can contact them. There... More
