I was visiting Lalbagh after a gap of 20 years and I was quite disappointed at state of affairs there. It was very badly kept , not cleaned for ages!

Peaceful spot with great plant diversity. Really great for walks or kids to play. Washrooms could be better. A lot of couples!

beautifully maintained massive gardens. Be prepared for long walks but well worth it - the flowers are simply beautiful. Make sure you catch the annual flower festival at Lalbaug

We visited in December so not the hight of the botanical season. We were offered a lift on a tourist cart but only if we paid a premium to have the entire cart on our own, they did say I could wait for the group one but I sat for a long time waiting with no one arriving, they refused... More
