Beautiful beach just off the city of Mangalore. The gradient of the beach is quite high so swimming is not allowed. It's near the estuary so it form a stunning landscape.

This a about 6 kms. off the Mangalore-Udupi highway before the iron ore transport and the port. Serene place with parking ideal for sunset views and a whiff of sea breeze.

There is no direct bus. You can take a private bus or even a Government bus from Malpe to Surathkal/Panambur. From there you can board a bus or auto to Tannirbhavi

Best option is go to sultan bathery in auto or city bus and from there go in ferry,it will save your time and money.
