The net are lowered and raised to catch the fish in a fixed platform. Spend a few minutes to see how they use the Chinese net to catch the fish. Nice to take a few snaps in the background of the fishing net in the background of "Kayal"

Away from the traditional method of catching fishes, for a tourist it a spot to visit and understand how the chinese fishing nets work. You can walk along the area and see the Arabian Sea till the end of horizon.Evenings are the best time to visit and click pictures .

I could barely stand next to them, they were stinking so badly. The sea next to them resembles a murky bog, rather than the Arabian Sea! Avoidable!

On the banks of the backwaters these chinese nets are a beauty on its own, View it with sunrise or sunset as background. The surrounding might be a tad messy and dirty,,Do remember to wear a pair of good walking shoes and carry your camera.
