With Keralas problematic licensing laws,it was a revelation to discover you can easily buy good tonic here. There are shops selling good merchandise here and it is well worth a visit.Post office is close by too

On a sunday evening the place had a desereted look.Mostly foreigners hanging around. The shops didn't have much to offer.Mostly selling duplicate antics and junk jewellery. There are lot of so called friendly guys trying to squeeze out something from you while pretending to help you.A weird place- nothing to see.

We are here at Princess Street,Kochi and I am here at Sonnetta Residency which is a home stay in Kochi. All the bars, cafes are all located nearby around 500 m radius and the famous beach,Mahatma Gandhi beach is also hardly 300 m from this street. One can get public transport very easily.

Princess street is situated very close to St.Francis Church, the Chinese fishing nets and the Basilica. It has numerous shops selling everything a tourist looks for and is second for shopping after Jew Town. Take a stroll down the street preferably after sundown when the street is lit up very tastefully. There are many eating places serving different cuisine and... More

This place is very near to Jew town. Street is neat and clean and very well maintained. Shops basically caters for high end tourists and foreigners, Prices are on higher side. Though the items/souvenirs sold at this place are very attractive. Fort area is also very near by. Princess street is nice place for spending good time. This place has... More

Busy shopping street with quite different building styles. Some hassle from shopkeepers but worth a trip down. Couple of supermarket type stores. Lots of clothing shops selling pretty much the same things.

A street where everything sells at 20x price and only $ paying guests are welcomed! A best place to avoid as everything is overpriced and they expect you to negotiate form 20 times to 10 times price level, beyond that they will move over to next customer....Better purchase items from MG road at reasonable price including the Govt run emporium....
