This is one of the Oldest Krishna Temple in Kerala.
The temple is located in Thirupunithura near Ernakulam.
The pooram in this temple is very colourful second only to Thrissur pooram.
Vrishchikolsavam festival is very famous.
It is said that the temple belongs to Cochin royal family.
The temple is full of architectural features.
This temple follows traditional practices.
The main deity Lord Krishna (Santhan Gopala Murthy) is in sitting posture.
The main deity is beautiful.
Its power attracts us to a greater extent.
One can easily feel the positive vibes when in front of the deity.
Thirupunithura was the Capital of Maharaja of Cochin & Poornathrayeesa was the protector of the Kingdom.
There is huge feeding hall (Ootupura) inside the temple. The temple has an auditorium too for conducting special programs.
I had a great sense of satisfaction, fulfilment, and inner peace on visiting this temple.
The temple is easily a “must visit temple” in all respects.

Been to this temple N no of times and its a really great experiance. been here with family as the temple is not far from my home. For me I get a lot of peace getting darshan of poornathrayeeshan( Lord Vishnu). For those who are found of architechture and all this is a typical example of an ancient rich temple aminly because it was patronised by the royal family here. Vrishchikolsavam is teh most important festival here which is a must visit time.

we have been regularly worshipping in this famous temple, one amongst many in and around Ernakulam. Local people have tremendous faith in Poornathrayesa. The temple is located in Trippunithura few miles from Ernakulam South Railway station and on way to the famous Chottanikkara Bhagavathy temple, another very famous temple in Kochi besides Ernakulathappan, Ravipuram Krishna Temple, Valanjambalam Bhagavathy temple, Paramara temple and many more!.

If you are in need of a child, you shall go to this temple and Pray to God Narayana who is called here Poornathrayeswarar. He is there to help in your needs; fulfill your wants if it is real and worthy. We have been blessed and we are very happy after having gone to this temple. This is the second time we have visited now. So I would advise that who so ever has any important prayer to be fulfilled, you go over there and Pray. You will be blessed. Very big temple and you should go in the evening to see the Aarthi.

During our trip to Ernakulam last Sunday, got to Visit Sree Poornathrayesa temple at Tripunithura with parents. It was a wonderful temple built of Kerala's architecture and also listed as one of the 8 Royal temples of Kochi Kingdom.

The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Krishna named as Santhana Gopala Murthy / Poornathrayesan. Lord Vishnu is seen here in sitting posture under the shade of five hoods of Ananthan. Had wonderful dharshan & Blessings at the temple.

Sree Poornathrayeesa Temple is situated in Tripunithura, Kochi, Kerala. The temple dedicated to Santhana Gopala Moorthy (Lord Vishnu). Poornathrayeesa is the combination of 3 words - ‘poorna’ means complete, ‘thraye’ means three, and ‘isa’ means Iswara which means the Lord of Knowledge, or the Lord of the Three Vedas – Rig Veda, Yajur Veda and Sama Veda. The main festival of this temple is "Vrishchikoltsawam" which is held every year in the month of November- December. Another festival 'Athachamayam' is held during the Onam festival.
