you must visit this temple .it was the famous temple and big surrounding place of the temple.we visit two times with my family members during summer kerala trip.we feel very divine in this temple.if you are interested you can take free lunch (annadanam) available near the temple.we take the food from the temple once.if you prepare to see the temple... The temple is so soothing that you will love to remain there for hours altogether. Relaxing environment and great people makes the place so very special. It has many lamps which must be a treat to watch when they must all be let up. ( We went in morning and hence couldn't experience this amazing view). The "nandi's" at all... More

The shrine's architecture reflects the 500 year history and divinity. I had nice darshan and happy to see the tall Shiva Linga sitting above all of us in the temple. The arrangements were good to have a close look of lord and priests were cordial to allow devotees to have a nice darshan.

Very big premises with serenity and cleanliness. Male devotees cannot wear shirt while entering the temple (same with most of the temples in Karnataka as well).

I visited this temple on a Saturday morning 10am in the month of July. It was not very crowded. The temple is well maintained. I had a great worship. Temple has a round garbha gruha and great mural Painting on its wall. I heard music of various Carnatic musical instruments from the building inside the temple ground, I guess some... More
