- H L R6 contributionsA spice garden gemThis is a little gem. We were shown around by Tindtu ( I think that's how her name is spelt). She was very friendly, knowledgeable, patient and wasn't making a hard sell, which was lovely. Her English was very good, too, so we could chat about the plants and their uses. The shop that is attached to the farm was nicely stocked with products from the farm - largely organic - and reasonably priced. A really nice educational experience. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to gardeners and spice loversVisited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 16 November 2023
- Sunshine2460847182844 contributionsRelaxed informative visitWe had a very lovely hour being shown round the garden by Tintu. It was a very calm, relaxed and informative visit. Tintu was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with; she tested our knowledge by crushing leaves and asking us to try and identify. The garden is beautiful and well worth a visit. The shop at the end sells all their organic products and is well worth a good look. They were all very helpful and polite 😊Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 17 November 2023
- Jet400449001151 contributionWonderful TintuWe had a wonderful time here with Tintu as our guide. She was very knowledgeable about all the different plants and it was a relaxing tour. She was able to provide the many uses for each spice in Ayurveda medicine. When we went into the shop we were advised which spices we could buy and what to use them for but we never felt pressured to buy. All in all a very lovely experience. Would recommend to anyone.Visited February 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 21 February 2024

Small lush garden, a precise and very complete explanation of all the plants present, how they grow, what and how we harvest, and what these plants are used for. Our guide was very patient, she repeated a lot and managed to remember some French names of certain plants!
You will find in the store a good number of these plants and various products related to Ayurvedic medicine.
Stop, if you have decided to bring back spices, you know where they come from.

A good place to visit especially if you are interested in knowing about spices. Mr.Prasad took us through the garden showed us and described to us the various spices they have in their garden. Mr. prasad is a very nice gentleman and explained to us in detail and was clearly our doubts whenever we asked. It was a pleasure talking to him and listening to the explanation he was giving on spices

The tour of the garden was amazing ! So many plants and trees. Tintu is a passionate guide. She explained so many relevant things and knows a lot about plants and their properties. She answered all our questions and took time to show us around, had us smell and guess the name of leaves. I highly recommand a stop and a visit at Green Land. And the shop also offers great quality products. Thanks a million Tintu ! 🙏

Spice Garden housing a variety of spices, herbs and fruits. Conveniently located on the highway, the spot is a rarity to miss. The owner - Mr Shinoj took us through the Plantation Tour which lasted for ~ 1.5 hours and explained the various processes involved in the cultivation and preservation. They have a store as well where one could purchase these spices as well as other local stuffs like Tea/Coffee and Chocolates. Was a very enriching experience !

We were not sure which spice garden to visit, our hotel recommended this one and we’re so glad they did. Tindu took us around the garden, telling us about all the spices, herbs and plants there. She described how they are grown and what processes they each go through before being ready for our use. Tindu was so helpful and really made our visit so worthwhile.

A few days ago we had a great tour of the spice garden at Green Land Spice Garden in Kumily, India. The guide showed us a variety of plants and gave us very helpful tips on how to use them in the kitchen and also what health problems they can help with. Excellent tour!

An excellent tour of the spice garden given by Tintu who was both knowledgeable and charming. The detailed knowledge of virtually every plant, bush or tree in the garden along with the range of uses for each of them was astonishing. We have been to spice gardens in India and Sri Lanka before. This one was the best ever and you can buy what you like at the end.

Upon our arrival we were meet by the most delightful lady who guided us through the complex. She should us and explain the different plants and their use. She could not been nicer. I wish I could remember half of what she told us. Then in the store she guided us through the spices for sale. It was a lovely visit and even went back the next day.

Thanks.
