Named after Vedic sage Agastya, the range of mountains are a treasure house of herbs and plants. Kerala tourism organizes a 2-day hike during season. The Neyyar wildlife sanctuary is near.

This is my first trekking experience. I would say this place is ideal for people who love nature,adventure and trekking obviously.Had an awesome experience in this excellent place.you need to extremely fit enough to complete the trek.

a famous place in trivandrum for trekking . you have to take pass from forest department. keep sufficient food ,water, medi fit with you

Be sure that you are physically fit. Medical assistance will not be available for the 2 days (at least) of treking. You have to take pass from Forest dept office located at Trivandrum. Visit in a group. Don't walk alone.
