A very well maintained temple of Lord Vishnu constructed by the Travancore rulers. The idol of Lord Vishnu in this temple is in sleeping posture. The Lord's idol is very long and devotees get the darshan through three doors, each showing the head, torso and leg portions of the idol. The temple has a dress code. Men have to go... More

The temple is very nice and huge and has a good spiritual value. My review is not about this.... my review is about management..... although the management is taking reasonably appreciable efforts for people's convenience and managing the huge crowd, which is highly challenging . Still Like other temples with spiritual values in India, people do not get good darshan... More

I have visited this temple during Dec'16 with my wife. Very nice & historic temple. This temple is always crowd. We need to stand in a queue always to see lord venkateswara. Lord Venkateswara is in a sleeping position like sri Rangam temple. One must visit this temple during Trivandrum visit. I will visit again & again.

It was a different experience for me as it had certain dress code to enter the temple. It was fun. The temple has excellent architecture. Guides will be available. This the temple where they founds tons and tons of gold and money. The Statue of God is unique one here.
