A very very busy road starting from East Fort going towards the Statue. This road houses many small shops , small malls, Chalai bazaar (off MG Road), the upcoming and now popular department store called Pothys. Various little local restaurants dotted here and there (not very upmarket) & Ganapathy temple. It's almost always very busy with road traffic with private... More

The MG Road -H.W is very popular among the motorists for the clean pot hole free roads , 4 way lanes and the ideal sign boards on the turnings . One can have a trouble free ride on the MG Road due to upkeeping of the roads . This road connects Trivandrum to Kottayam and almost all the long distance... More

Few malls, street book stores and textile shops. Do not come to trivandrum for shopping. This is the major shopping area of the town though it has only few good quality shops around here. in qrs mall and its surroundings is where to check for that. Trivendrum is good for only medication perhaps. Down the street there is pothys where... More

Pothys, Big Bazaar, Parthas, Secretariat, and most of the important buildings are situated here. The road is neatly maintained with separate platform for pedestrian walking. Very very important place in Trivandrum.

We visited Pothys Mall because we had sometime before leaving for airport. Its a nice place to pass time, and do some shopping. Its a huge mall and has everything ranging from groceries (think spices and coconut oil!), to clothes and jewellery. We ended up buying stuff for our all the family members and spent 2 hours before rushing to... More
