Khajuraho is a small town, not many people, and it is the cleanest place we experienced in India. What famous here is the sex temple, which can be divided into 3 groups, the western group of temples (11 temples), the eastern group of temples (3...More

I consider this as an unique temple compared to other temples in the entire Khajuraho, including the western group of temples. This is because the architecture of the temple is the combination of all three religions. The front top has Hindu shrine style, the second top...More

The temple is located in the middle of the Western Group of temple's complex though is in a bad shape and seems not visited by many.

The Parvati temple is a small temple and one of the oldest. It is located very close to the Vishwanatha temple and Nandi temple. This is an active temple.

This temple seems to be out of place among the rich ornamented temples of the Western group. The architecture is a mix of Hindu, jain and islaimic styles. Also has a Siva linga as a deity though its named Parvati temple.

Although it stands with the other Western Group of Temples, it has been recently opened. It has a different style of architecture combining - Hindu, Jain and Moslem architecture.

This temple had a shiv linga inside. Wonder why it is called Parvati temple. This one does appear aloof from the others because of its dome.

This is relatively new construction and has three section indicating three architecture types. Dedicated to goddess Parvati it is constructed on a raised platform. Outside is very simple unlike other temples of the complex.

This Temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati. The porch is lost. Of the sanctum, only the plinth has survived. Erotic sculptures can be seen on the front wall. The interesting bit is the architecture where three religions have been accommodated. The first tower is in...More
