Hey, to answer you questions 1. There are 2 courses that you must complete EP (Elimentary Pilot) and CP(Club Pilot). The duration for EP is 4 days and CP is 5 days. They will get you familiar with ground handling and take offs and landings in EP. You will need 2 extra days in between EP and CP to practice these. If you are planning to come down from Calcutta i would suggest you stay on for both courses plus the 2 days in the middle. But CP is where its at!! You will be learning soaring in CP and going back straight after that is extremely disheartening. So i would highly recommend staying after CP for a few days and getting some flying hours under your belt. Since paragliding totally depends on the winds having a few days extra in hand wont hurt. 2. For the cost along with your stay and food and equipment rent for the days when you are flying outside your course just email Sanjay. He will totally sort you out and usually replies on the same day if not in a few hours. 3. It is a certified course and you will receive a certificate. They follow british guidelines for teaching. But IMHO its not about any documentation. As long as you maintain your log book and get a feel of how to fly you will be able to fly anywhere in the world. Sanjay helped me find good instructors in Croatia where I plan to travel and thats the general idea aint it? :) so dont worry about the certificate. Relax have fun and fly high buddy. Hope to see u there this season!!!
