Shri Laxminathji Temple is is one of the oldest temples of Bikaner. The shrine was built by Maharaja Rao Lunakaran to worship Lord Vishnu. Red stone for the temple was imported from Jaisalmer. The idols are very beautiful. Another highlight is the splendid art-work in silver on the doorway. Shri Laxminath temple celebrates festivals like Diwali, Janmashtami, Ramnavam, Geeta Jayanti¸ and Nirjala Ekadashi, with huge fervor and enthusiasm.

A small beautiful God VISHNU temple on a hillock in old city. It was my second visit . We reached at 11.30AM,it was aarti time, people were rushing to attend aarti. Aarti was heart touching with musical instruments. Temple is beautifully decorated from inside.
temple complex has many temples of other Gods & Goddesses.
It is better to reach this temple from a outside route to avoid traffic
Few thingswhich i want to highlight
1 Parking is there
2 people were parking there vehicles in improper way
3 No proper stand for shoes, all were putting shoes at gate of temple
4 Lot of stray animals & cow dung there
5 Photography is not allowed

Location: Shri Lakshminath temple is located just 50 meters (adjacent to) from Bhandasar Jain temple. Distance from railway station is around 2.5 kms from bikaner railway station (platform 1 side). Do not confuse this temple with another Lakshminath temple opposite siva temple in Shivbari.

I still fail to understand why do we have to make our religious places so dirty? Absolutely pathetic state of affairs both inside and outside. It's an irony that one has to leave the shoe outside! This famous temple campus needs serious cleaning operation.
