This gate is huge, and marvellous majestic entrance to the huge fort. Studs would be applied to this type of gate to prevent enemies using elephants to knock down the gates in periods of siege

nothing really special about this one other than it's very narrow and very busy and the floor has become polished sandstone, so supper slippy.

There are three pole to enter the fort and first is surya Gate. More crowded by local rikshowala to stand in que for entry.

Surya Gate is the first entrance of the Jaisalmer fort. The name is derived from the fact that Sun falls at this gate first before travelling to other places in the fort.Nothing great
