Spectacular monuments

Beautiful sprawling monuments to the long dead royal lineage. Spread across acres this is a very scenic place with great views for miles around including the windmills.

Great architecture..great history... There are many like these, Cenotaph and if you see one place you get to know of all. Great photo opportunities particularly selfies.

This place is well known for it's garden &cenotop of royal families. The view of sunset over the hill is superb. Only down side is that fee for the attraction is very high.

these set of Royal Cenotaphs are amazing in there architecture but after charging a good amount from the tourists they are still neglected. The cenotaphs are broken and the broken pieces instead of being restored.Be aware the supposed entry ticket. An added camera fee applies . Don't pay the camera fee. Just say no camera no photos. No entry tickets... More

Out of the city it offers views but the best time to go is sunset because of the light. Very nice building to photograph. Just pay a little for your ticket and you can walk around where ever you want.

Stopped off here on a half day drive from Jaisalmer fort where we were staying on our way to a desert camel ride. There is nothing more than the pics you see online but it is on the way so you may as well stop. The many electrical farm wind turbines in the background make a dramatic scene representing the... Bada Bagh is a 15 min drive from Jaisalmer city. The best time to visit is early in the morning when the sun's long rays are directly falling on the beautiful chhatris or dome-shaped pavilion painting them in glorious hue of red. There usually is not much crowd at this place so you can have the place to yourself. Each... More

Only 10 min away by tuk tuk (180 r for the tuk tuk to take you there and back + 150r the ticket + 100 rupees if you want to take pictures), this place is amazingly beautiful. It does not take long to see everything and the entrance is a bit expensive (as it is supposed to pay for the... More

We really enjoyed our visit to Bada Bagh. Its only a short distance outside of Jaisalmer and definitely work a visit. We spent about half an hour walking around looking at the Royal Cenotaphs, its really unique. The newer ones are much smaller than the older more grand memorials. Watch out for touts coming up to you and starting to... More
