It's always nice to get some time to yourselves in India without people nagging for selfies, rickshaw rides, leather bags and almost running you down before tooting their skull-penetratingly powerful horns, and where better to get away from everyone but the middle of a lake?...More

Lack surrounded by raj mahals. Such an amazing view if you get chance to have boat riding. Its a movie like view. Loved.

You can sit by the lake or do boating.. we spotted swans on one of the island structures in the lake try to catch the sunset from the lake

Gadisar lake is a beautiful lake in Jaiselmer. We walked about 2 km from our hotel to the lake, but after a long walk were disappointed that there is not much space around the lake to sit and relax. There is only one corner near the entrance...More

One of the best place in Jaisalmer. Lake is so beautiful and clean . We enjoy the voting in lake with Friends and have fun. Waiting to visit again soon ..

Could be a wonderful place, but locals are leaving a message. Plastic bottles inside the lake... That's really sad.

The lake is very calm and quiet. At the entrance are the usual suspects trying to see you something and you can opt to paddle in a boat over the lake. We just found a quiet place under a tree and relaxed for a while.

Nice view. Self pedaling boat for 30mins is 300 rupees and if you hire someone for a rowing boat while you enjoy the view then its 400 rupees. Its very hot but worth the money. 🚣

Walked down to the lake today and was really mesmerised by the tranquility and sereneness of it all. There is an option to take a boat out on to the lake there too. Great photo opportunities!

Worth a look, especially around sunset, if you have the time. Quite a pretty lake! We walked around a bit to get some photos from various angles. Not sure how much boat rides cost; we didn't feel particularly called to do one.
