For confirmation I asked if I had to pay this as well as for lunch to which the answer was yes. Do not waste... More

Wondered how the huge palace could be completed in 15 years. Reportedly, one of the largest palaces in the world. Though only 5 rooms are open to the general public, enjoyed thoroughly the galleries showcasing Crystalware, Clocks, Watches, the unique paintings of Ramayana ( in a European style) by the Polish painter Norblin. The palace doesn't boast of the intricate... More

The museum only occupies a small part of the palace and frankly is not of much interest, you don't get much idea of what life was/is like in the palace and the objects on display are not of much interest.

To visit the palace is an incredible experience! Tough you get to see only 10% of it. The museum inside is Good, you see various old clocks and crockery which kings used in Olden days. And don't miss the Vintage car collection at the end of palace.

The most amazing thing here is to see the grand Umaid Bhawan Palace, its beautiful garden and lawns. There is museum for which you can pay just INR 30. The display of vintage car collection was a beautiful surprise. One can only imagine the grandness of the Maharajas of India.

Jodhpur a must do .... Umaid Bhavan is one of the most beautiful pieces of architecture.... The visit to Jodhpur has no relevance if one does not do Umaid Bhavan.

Well maintained palace and museum which shouldn't take over 2 hours to cover. The car museum is covered and one can see the old cars through glass.
