The cultural show hosted in this haveli is a must visit when in Udaipur. It showcases multiple cultural forms from different parts of Rajasthan such as Folk Music, Kathputli Show and many dance forms. The show is quite entertaining. It happens from 7-8 PM and entry starts at 6.30 PM. Do visit early for best seats as it is first come first serve. Entry ticket is 100 bucks and 100 extra if you want to record anything.

    Bagore ki Haveli
This is a very old Haveli built in Mewar architecture. The museum displays numerous old items used by the residents of the Haveli. The main attraction is the cultural show organised in the courtyard of the Haveli. The timing was from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm and the ticket for one Indian adult is ₹ 100/= only. The show was superb showcasing the famous dance forms of Rajasthan with Kathputli show. One has to reach approx. 60 mins. before the show to purchase the ticket. The tickets of the show are available only at the counter and not online. A must item in the itinerary of Udaipur visit.

Nice Cultural Show at Bagore ki Haveli!
Bagore ki Haveli is a museum located beside Lake Pichola and it’s got some good things to see. Ideal time to visit is during the evening hours after which we can also attend the cultural show that begins at 7 pm. Tickets at INR 100 is too good and the show is amazing for it displays the beautiful dance of the Rajasthani tribals and leaves the audience spellbound. It’s very interesting to watch and there’s never a dull moment.

Inside, be captivated by breathtaking mirror work, intricate glasswork, and murals that showcase the era's finest craftsmanship. Beautiful architecture along with glimpses of our proud history.
Beautifully built, picturesque style, walls carved with artistic designs , huge verandas, corridors reminds us of old times. We went in the afternoon though it was as hot , but worth visiting. At this time place was less crowded so we got good pictures besides got to see every nook and corner of this pretty Haveli. Got to know that some cultural events are done in evening.

We went there to watch the show (dance and acts). The ticket costed Inrs 90 (for locals) and 150 (for foreigners); the show was 45 mins long. It comprised rajasthani folk dances, acts and songs reflecting local culture and traditions. The combination of colourful costumes, Folk music and props paired with wonderful performances made the experience delightful.

It's a perfect place to watch folk dance in Udaipur.
It's located near lake pichola and easily accessible while walking.
It has limited seating capacity so I would suggest you to stand early in line to grab a ticket so you can seat in front row to get a perfect view of dance.

It was a great show indeed

Didn't visit the museum but visited in the evening for Dharohar cultural show.
There are 6-7 different acts and dances which happen which are a delight to watch.

Don't try to look out or buy tickets online, go to the place directly and buy them for Rs. 100 each, the tickets do get sold out so during the season it is a possibility for a crunch.
So, better buy it early while visiting city palace or gangaur ghat or Jagdish temple.

The show entry starts at 7 so better get in queue by 6:45 to get a front row seat and enjoy for 30-45 minutes.

When there are more people they do another show at 8 PM but it depends on the crowd.

We went to see the folk dance here after hearing about it from several people. It is good value for money and you get to see some interesting styles of rajasthani dance. There are two people that provide the narrative in hindi and english.
We bought our tickets after queuing for 30mins but you can book online for quicker entry. We had a good evening overall!

Honestly, we could not visit the museum, as the museum closes by 5pm, and by the time we were able to finish our other itenary places & reach, the museum was already closed.
So thing is... there is a Bagore ki Haveli (Palace), where you can visit from 10am to 5pm. From 5pm to 7pm everything is closed. From 7pm onwards, in the same premises, there is a Dharohar show. This is ultimate.

Honestly, the feedback i got from locals is that if you have already visited the City Palace, Bagore's Haveli is ok to skip.

Talking more about the Dharohar show, you can buy tickets during from 5pm to 7pm. I booked tickets online to save the ticket que waiting time. Rs 80 charged extra for online booking / convenience fee :)

Dharohar show essentially comprises of 3 parts.
1. Traditional Folk Dance ~ 15-20 mins
2. Katputli / Puppet show ~ 15-20 mins
3. Dance / Walking on broken glass pieces ~ 15-20 mins
4. Total 1 hour show

You must have already seen this elsewhere, but watching the highly motivated artist and their attitude will bring goosebumps. Do visit.

Seating is first cum first serve. So arrive early (6:30pm types) to grab the best seat.
Seating arrangements are comfortable. My 6 year old kid was comfortable watching the show

The most fantastic and yet highly underrated museum of Udaipur. Not a museum fan myself and this place only caught my eye on the net due to the culture performances. but when I went there the same was cancelled due to corona but the guard there persuaded me to check the place out and seriously I was bewildered by the paintings, the weaponry and even the whole setting that threw me back a few generations in time.
Located right by the Gangor Ghat waterfront, this is not just value for mon ey [INR 20/- as opposed to the INR 300/- at the palace that is clearly overated] but it also has many hidden gems from coloured windows and stained glasses to colourful artifacts and even a shrine to a local warrior god in it.
Definitely do not miss....
