The palace sits on the banks of Pichola Lake. A heritage palace which is HUGE and takes about 3 hours to see it completely. Please take a local guide to understand the history.

The palace is very beautiful with it's brilliant architecture and variety of historical events. The view of the lake and view of Udaipur city from the palace makes it even more attractive.

I regret now for buying tickets worth 250 for this. The palace will give you all royalty kind of feeling but then you can explore better places than this. So in case you are an outdoor ,more of sunset, sunrise, mountain lover kind of person, avoid city palace.

Huge palace. So many rooms and things to see. But too much in fact. Difficult to appreciate fully. Should be visited in slices in order to be able to focus on key areas.

Wow what a place full of history and stories. Do get a guide to help you get the most out of this huge complex. We finished with a boat ride on the lake. Just perfect!

A must visit during Udaipur visit. It helps the visitor to connect with rich Rajasthani culture and important historical events. The museum is worthy of a visit.
