I visited this in combination with other tourist spots nearby Kanyakumari so reached about 1 PM when facing direct sunlight. Hanging is just a word for namesake. Not much tourist comes here but even then parking, visiting ticket, camera fees charged. Minimal water was flowing...More

This attraction is not for the weak hearted irvthisecwho are afraid of heights, engineering marvel giving a good Panasonic view of the city showcasing the greenery.

If u go by the name it is not a hanging bridge actually. Not m ore than 10 minutes stop as you have to cross from one end to another - good view as there is a river tributary that flows below.

From the centre of the Aqueduct, one can see a vast expanse of greenery, with rolling hills of the Western Ghats in the background, and the meandering Pahrali river flowing below.
