Beautiful view of Dolphin's nose
Dec 2020
We travelled there during our tour to Coonnor. There are some local people asking for their services as guide. We said yes to one old age person who took us to many places including Dolphin's nose. It is very exiting even to reach the place by your car. It was raining at the place last night, and the whether next day was very pleasant when we had travelled. The waterfall was clearly showing a stream of water from a distance. The scenery was full of beauty with fog around all over the places.

Foggy and Heavenly
Nov 2019
Dolphin nose point having 360 degree view of mountains, valley and few waterfalls. Actually these waterfalls are in kotagiri area. Bigger waterfall is known as catharine waterfall. When we visited this place it was foggy.

Road from coonoor to dolphin point is mesmerizing amid tea plantation, few tea factory on the road and some shops are selling herbs and spices.

We have seen Indian Bison (Gaur) in this area.

Must visit place. Lamb's rock point is near to this place.

Great view
Jan 2020
It is a tourist spot, but not crowded at all (maybe only in the weekend). There is a viewpoint with great views of the surrounding mountains and tea plantations. Also monkeys stay at this place. Food stalls and a lot of photographers who can make your photos in traditional clothes and with a basket when you are working in the tea plantations. 5 to 10 minutes and your photo is printed. No problem if you ask them to take some photos with your own camera or mobile. It's definitely worth to visit this place.

Beautiful view point
May 2019 • Friends
Dolphin Nose is one of the popular tourist attractions in Coonoor and we had visited the same during our sightseeing in Coonoor. We bought entrance tickets for 10 rupees per person. From this view point one can get beautiful 360 degree view of the valley below amidst mountains. We also saw Catharine Falls from this point. There are many small vendors along the walkway leading to this point. Beware of monkeys and take care of any eatables carried by you.

Delightful and not as tourist filled as Lamb's Rock. Don't want to overcrowd it and spoil it but worth a visit.

Quite a Trek, Very Narrow Road, Worth the Aerial Hill View
Feb 2020 • Family
The road leading up tonthe point can get very busy on weekends and had a jam of over an hour on the Saturday in Feb'20 that we went.
The trek can also be arduous for elderly and young children. The view is certainly spelndid but is almost similar from all view points like Lady Seat, Lambs Rock etc
I would recommend to see one view point and give the others a miss - its more of the same wonderful valley view
