We had visited this beautiful British era Church during our sightseeing in Coonoor. The caretaker at the Church was welcoming and very friendly and eagerly explained us about the history of the place. This Church is 165 years old built during British period and showcases beautiful Gothic architecture. The main altar shows Jesus and others in colorful stained glass. The Church compound is also very well maintained with flower beds.

Must visit in Coonoor
Sep 2019
We attended Sunday mass . A wonderful way to meet and greet the residents of the town. There was a beautiful talk the day we went, honouring senior citizens, and we were given a little gift. Coffee afterwards and a sale of goodies with wonderful home cooked snacks and preserves by the ladies of the parish. We enjoyed everything we bought , especially the thought that the proceeds will go toward the maintainence of this beautiful church. The graveyard with weeping cypresses was especially beautiful.

Regular visit for worship
Jul 2019 • Couples
Attended the regular Sunday service. There was communion this week too. It was good and soul satisfying. The coffee fellowship after the service too was excellent with a chance to see our friends at the end of every week.

A memorable visit
Mar 2019 • Friends
I had gone there to locate the birth records of my father who was born in Coonoor. The church was closed but managed to rouse the caretaker who kindly opened it for us. Low and behold he took out the register of my father and uncles baptismal records born in 1923 and 1925.I was elated. It moved me to see the font and church in which my grandparents and father worshipped. Service is only held on Sundays. It is a simple church built in 1851 and is a Protestant church. The stained glass windows are intact, I loved it

Anglican Protestant Church
Sep 2018 • Family
This is one of the Anglican Protestant churches at Coonoor. It conducts regular worship at 9.30 am every Sunday. A regular Presbyter Incharge officiates the order of Service set by the Church Of S. India, Coimbatore under which the church belongs, being a mainline church. With a quiet well maintained surrounding and the church itself being an old one (>150 years), it is worth attending on a nice Sunday morning. It is also kept open on Fridays for the faithful to come and pray. Surrounded by Junipers and conifers and old cemeteries, it is a quiet and tranquil place for the religiously inclined.

All saints Church established in 1851
Nov 2017 • Couples
The church offer services only on Saturday and Sundays, the place is not a picnic spot or there are any guidance on this historical place. We were Lucky to meet one of the Parishioner who allowed us inside.
The cemetery and near by places are not kept as historical place though many of the grave yards dates late 1850s and later... As we could see in quick visit

Small and peaceful place
Aug 2017 • Family
The church takes you back in time like watching in an old European movie, Very peaceful place. If you want to have a look and pray in silence you can go after mass. It closes at 5pm. It shares a common wall with Gateway hotel so very close

A well maintained Church
Jun 2017 • Family
This is one of the oldest places in Coonoor. The church was established in 1860's and is maintain its charm till now. A typical British countryside church with huge domes. It is a very quiet place and is rarely crowded. Sometimes it does feel a little spooky. There is also a graveyard adjacent to the church and a small well kept garden too. Tall pine tress surround the church. If one is interested in Religious activity this church can be visited. It is not a popular tourist spot in that sense. It is located next to the Gateway hotel.

Made welcome by the excellent caretaker who gave us a guided tour. Knowledgeable and friendly. He looks after the graveyard and garden as well, and it is in good condition as are the graves.
