A very English church and grave yard. It adds detail to the history of the past British era and the people, especially soldiers, engineers, and tradesmen who built so much in a foreign land they adopted for a period.

A very tranquil stop as you head to Ooty. Very well preserved, with a calm respectful feel. Worth a stop.

Where the founder of Ooty's family is buried. A huge spectacular church. Lots of improvement going on, tree clearing etc.

The church was built about 200 years back and many of the articles are the original ones. The glass paintings around the inner walls resembling what I had seen (and posted in nTrip Advisor site) in St. Joseph Pontifical Seminary in Aluva/Alwaye are delightful fo watching and enjoying. You are expected to remove your foot wear before entering. There is... More

St Stephen's was built by the British in the 1820s. It is a wonderful example of the days of the Raj. The wood fittings are a mature dark colour while the gain seated pews brink a lightness. The stained glass windows are beautiful and the church offers a warm glow. The dedications on the walls are well worth reading; whilst... More

My brother and sister in law got married here. It's a beautiful local church, set well into the gorgeous Ooty trees. Definitely worth a visit if you love old churches.

Not sure what to write about it. It is similar to many of the churches that I have seen in different places. Only good thing I liked here is that it has nature at its best around it.

Old Church from the British period with an imposing gothic structure. You can actually take your car inside the church compound and enjoy your stroll around the church after your prayers.
