BEAUTIFUL RELIGIOUS PLACE

The church is almost 200 years old but is maintained impeccably. Must see place not just for Christians.

Built in 1830, still in perfect shape. Occupies key location on main road, so hard to miss. Nicely decorated, understated style. Feels friendly. 15 minutes to visit.

I quite like churches. I'm not religious so they aren't significant in that way but they are ideal places to stop and think awhile and reflect on where you have been and what you have seen. St Stephens church is an attractive building on ground that gives a good view down into Ooty. The interior matches it's rather austere exterior... More

St Stephen's church and the adjoining cemetery are a must visit if you are the one who gets a high thinking about those times when British Ruled India. One should... More
