We went to visit the elephant centre just outside of Agra and are so glad we did as the work they do is incredible, the place is amazing and so are the animals. We came for a 2 hour talk and tour and got to feed the elephants which was brilliant, wish we could have come for a full day.... More

This review is for elephant refuge. Had a surreal time with the elephants at this refuge. Tragic to see and learn how some of these animals were treated prior to the refuge which really solidifies the importance of the work done here. Also really enjoyed meeting a lot of great people working or volunteering at the refuge. A bit difficult... More

Our day at the elephant sanctuary was one of the highlights of our trip to India. The organisation does wonderful work caring for these beautiful creatures who have been so badly treated. Here they find peace, love and companionship. Our day started with a trek with two elephants, then we chopped fruit, helped bathe a massive beast and then fed... More

We went to the bear rescue facility, and after going to the elephant village in Jaipur a few days later, felt like we really should have gone to Wildlide SOS's elephant sanctuary too. It is educational and sheds good light on a problem that I had never heard about. I enjoyed my time there, but it is a little difficult... More

About an hour's car journey from the Taj Mahal is this fabulous bear rescue facility which deserves to be in the Lonely Planet guide as a must do for any animal lovers whilst in Agra. We booked for a 3 and a half hour tour so we really got an insight into the work this charity does and we learned... More

There were many elephants. I touched a baby elephant. He was very cute. Many other animals were also there. Nice caretaker.

I was on an organised trip to India and I did not know about the sanctuary. A lovely couple on the tour had researched the wildlife sanctuary and a group of us went to see the elephants. It was lovely to see them being cared for but also so sad that they are injured. You get to feed them and... More

Easy to organise a visit, quick to respond to emails and phone calls. Once there the introductory talk and video is very informative to better understand the NGO and their work. The elephants are just beautiful creatures and appear incredibly friendly and it's great to get within a couple metres of them during the walk around the centre. I would... More

One of the best days I spent in India was here. These majestic animals are so gentle and friendly. They do amazing work here and a visit and donation is so worth it for any animal lover.
