Beautiful structure

It is a beautiful building in Fatehpur Sikri Palace complex. It is near to lower haramsara, royal stable. The building seems to be intact and very beautiful.

We went to Fatehpur Sikri with a guide who shared the details about this place. It was interesting to learn the historical aspect.

It is one of the many bhavans inside the Fatehpur Sikri Castle. Small in size it is located in the beginning of the castle. Birbal was the closest minister of Emperor Akbar was the wisest man in his kingdom.

While coming back from the Panch Mahal and finishing my tour of the Fatehpur Sikri , i managed to sneak into Birbal ki Haveli / Birbal's Palace. As i walked i went through a horse stable where i could still smell the horse's faeces smell which was absurd and as i walked i could hear someone following me and laughing.... More

Another building of the abandoned city complex Fatehpur Sikri. This refers to the palace formerly used by the main general. But behind its end use there is history that you will not want to miss, so make use of a guide.

Really think Akbar's going to trust his favourite servant with a hut in the middle of the zenana? Anyway, it's yet another shapely addition to the Sikri complex, more southern Indian inspired this time, but still a mishmash, and a pleasing one at that.

We used the electronic audio guides that are available near the ticket counter. These talk about each structure in the palace in a lot of detail. For this structure, the guide said that Birbal, the trusted vizier of the Emperor, in fact did not live in this structure. It is therefore a misnomer! Nonetheless it is an interesting part of... Birbal’s Palace, also known as Northern Palace of the Haram Sara is an integral part of the Imperial Harem in Fatehpur Sikri.
