Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went in to see how the marble is processed, but were then led upstairs to a showroom. We looked around and decided to buy two tables. We paid for these and were told shipping was included. We were then contacted by HMRC and had to pay a hefty import duty before the tables were released. When the tables arrived they were not the size we had purchased and paid for. They were only 12 inches , and one of the stands was damaged and and could not be assembled. we contacted Marble Art and sent a photo of their staff member holding up one of the two tables we bought which clearly showed its size as larger than 12 inches. They sent cctv of us looking around at various tables , but not of the purchase transaction itself. They will now not correspond with us or answer our mails.
We would advise people to be very careful if purchasing from this outfit, and feel we have been robbed by them of a significant amount of money in not receiving the size of table we actually bought.

Don't buy from this shop! I bought an item from here and I paid 125 euros. At the hotel shop, the same item, the same "quality" was 20 euros. After that, I saw in other shops the same item just for 20-25 euros!
So, just look, but DON'T BUY! THE WORST EXPERIENCE!

While on a trip to the Heart of India, on the 20th of November of this year, we stopped at the Marble Art Palace. I ordered two table tops to be sent to my children for gifts to arrive by the 15th of December 2016. To date, they have not arrived and I am very concerned. I am writing here as there is no email address to send directly to the Marble Palace. Please assure me that my two gifts are on the way. Please contact me via Trip Advisor. Thank you. Cheryl Hoppe

it is now 12 months since purchasing marble table top from this company. Over six months ago I requested a refund due to faulty item. They refused promising a replacement only. After efforts to try enforce refund (almost impossible in India to access consumer affairs) I agreed to replacement. After many emails, photos of item etc still NO RESULT - NO CONTACT.
Any one intending purchasing from this company beware if you have problems with purchase do not expect any satisfaction.

i purchased a mable table 18 months ago the inlay has started to lift in many places and is waffer thin also the colour has started to fade badly. i read the terms and conditions that they supplied on the bill and realised that i had been tricked, at the time of purchasing i was told to sign the back of the table so that i would know that the table was the one i had bought when it was delivered. in the conditions it says signing the back of the table means that you accept the condition and can not make a claim later.

Visited during our trip to India. Watched craftsmen honing their art on small pieces of marble. Amazing workmanship! Once in the showroom, there are varied sizes to choose from. No pressure to purchase, but we found a beautiful table which spoke to us!
Has now arrived in Edmonton, Alberta and rests in our living room for the moment.
Marble base was made to match our marble top and is absolutely stunning!
Would highly recommend Marble Art Palace to visitors to Agra!!
Thank you for this work of art and fabulous reminder of our visit to India!
Packaging was awesome.

This place keeps the tradition and craftsman skills alive.

The marble is hand carved as well as the inlays.

Folks are honest and friendly.

You have to bargain for the final price but that is fun.

When the deal is done they pack and ship for no extra charge.

No up charge for credit cards but that is built into the price.

Not cheap by any stretch.

What do they say , you get what you pay for.

I still highly recommend this shop to serious buyers.

Our tour guide brought us here because he had a mistaken understanding of our finances. (The cheapest inlaid tables cost hundreds of US dollars; smaller souvenir trinkets start at $35 each.) However, the workshop owner was very gracious, showing us how the work is done. We could watch the craftsmen for a while, and really enjoyed the chance to appreciate up close the techniques used to create the Taj Mahal. It's definitely worth a visit if you're interested in marble inlay and the luminosity of certain stones.
