Visited on 30th January 2019 in the evening. One has to ask directions from the Vishwanath Mandir as the gullies are narrow and criss cross. But not far off. Worth seeing. South Indian people visit the spot always.

Its a Vishalakshi Gauri temple Hindu Temple one of the famous temple in the city of Varanasi. It is also know for "Tij" festival. It usually crowded during festival.I went with my friends in Evening attended the Holy Aarti it was a wonderful experience.

The long queue at Kashi Vishwanath Temple forced me to take a detour and visit the Vishalakshi temple. Another lesser known Peeth. If you are visiting Kashi Vishwanath then you should visit this one also. It's close by. Being unheard has its advantages. Not crowded😉😉.!!!!...More

The main deity of this temple is Goddess Annapoorneshwari who is considered as the goddess of food. The temple is near to Vishwanath temple and is very well maintained.

A must visit temple in the lanes of Meer Ghat. It has a Shivling called Prathmesh Shivling which is the first Swayambhu Shivling found in Kashi. The temple has Navgrah idols also. Devi is Vishalakshi.

Online Pooja is not available. In fact in many temples online Pooja is not available. Hope with the time trhis will improve.
