Trip cannot be complete until you have done this which we did early morning and again in the evening. True India warts and all. Smell, sights and sounds. Absolutely loved this

its grand river, one of the biggest in India. though in banaras, not very clean, yet can be visited for a while.

We booked the boat ride which costed 150 rupees per person. Varanasi itself is completely chaotic but the boat ride has a charm of its own and watch the Ganga Puja from the boat to make it more special.

expect narrow roads and crowd. enjoy it. then u will definitely enjoy Varanasi, don't forget to listen to commentary from boat wala aby GHats.

We took a motor boat round and watched the Ganga aarti while aboard from the Boat. Entire experience was majestic.

Hi. We were disappointed not to be able to sail the Ganges. The water level was too high. But there were a lot of boats floating near the cremation ghat.
