Discovered by Frank S Smythe in the year 1931 is a UNESCO world heritage site under Nature category. Nature lovers, botanist, photograghers, mountaineers all come to valley of flowers from across the globe.

Hidden from the outside world and known only to some mountain inhabitants of the Bhyundar Valley,it was tradionally aoided bu the believing it to be the celestial playgrounds of the Gods,nymphs and fairiesits like Gods own land

Date of your travelling will coincide with monsoon season here. The mountains experience heavy rainfalls during this time with 3 to 4 days of continuous rainfalls. Therefore I will suggest you not to drive during your time... More

I dont think you can book any hotel online for Gangharia. There is no internet connection there. Even the mobile conection is very very weak almost not present. Hotels options there are very less and very poor conditions... More

You can park you car either at Govindgath or at Joshimath. Both are safe.
