It was a near surreal experience for us as we took a pilgrimage to the God's own garden in the 2nd week of September, 2016. Although quantum of flower was less in the valley itself but we managed to frame a lots of flower species on the way to ghangaria itself. It was a nearly 14kms trek up and down... More

We, a family of three, visited Valley of Flowers National Park in July 2016. We stayed at ghangaria and started at 6-30. Please note that one has to buy entry ticket, which starts at 7 am. If one already has ticket, one can cross the check post at 6-30 am. Ponnies are not allowed. The trek is of moderate difficulty... More

We did this trek along with a bunch of friends. It's an easy trek from the base camp which took 4 hours to reach the place. You would cross a couple of waterfalls on the way and I should say that the way is scenic. Once you reach the place, you would get to see a splendid view of the... More

This was one of the best trips we have ever been on! We organised it ourselves, got a jeep to Govindghat and stayed there overnight (the hotels on the bottom road are cheaper) then hiked to Ghangria and stayed overnight before a great and challenging trek to the valley of flowers. The valley is stunningly beautiful. Wild-flower meadows backed by... More

I completed a trek to Valley of flowers (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Hemkund Sahib with Renok Adventures and it was a wonderful experience. It is a beauty mine for nature explorers, a must-see location- a combination of beauty & faith. It was a trip of 6 days, with a small group of 13 trekkers and two trek leaders cum... More

I have been to many places in Himalayas, never seen such a beautiful place yet. Valley of Flowers National Park is situated in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand. We went to VOF in Sep 2016, although this was off season, there were very less flowers but the Valley was yet colorful and amazingly beautiful. The path is very well laid and... More

We were a group of 6 folks with absolutely no trekking/hiking experience and chose to go for a trek in the Himalayas. It looks like time was on our side, we chose to trek to the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib during the best time of the year. Trek the Himalayas arranged everything right from our tranfers to our... More

I travelled to the Valley of Flowers with GIO adventures. I travelled along with five others and they were great company. The base for the trek is Ghangaria which can be reached by walking/trekking 13 KM or like I did take the helicopter. We stayed at the GIO adventures campsite. The location of the camp was close to the Helipad... More

My most memorable trekking experience. Being a comfort seeking traveller I could do this trek. I recommend it to anyone who would love to disconnect themselves from citylights and connect to starlights. Once you enter Nanda Devi Park , you can only walk up. So recommended for people who are physically fit and don't have any health issues. Also people... More
