The Govardhan hill is a historical place which has very deep roots in Lord Krishna's time. Not very far from Mathura, this place has some good and positive vibes. Must visit place!

Before starting approx. 21 Kms barefoot travel, many apprehension came but the vibration all through make it so smooth. Soft Track makes it pleasant. People of all ages can be seen taking holy tracking.

it takes around 30-40 mins from mathura . Road is good. park your car near Hotel wingston otherwise you will get caught in traffic jam near temple. take rikshaw/ walk. there is nothing much to see in the temple , so it is not worth...More

This is one of the famous Hindu hill. People visit here for pracrema of Govrdhan hill through foot or through cart. This place is little far from Vrindavan.

The temple is nice. There is no actual hill though. It is only a pictorial depiction today. I did not see any worship there at the Govardhan murthi. Instead there are some murthus elsewhere in the temple where Pujari are there to do Pooja. No...More

Devotees do the parikrama round the clock. it all depends on the wheather . if you happen to go during the summer months, it is preferable to start in the late evening . if it is winter season, than, prefer early morning so... More

Of course you can hire rickshaw or peddle rickshaw by inquiring them locally and they can move along with you through out parikrama.This is better with children or old people who can join with you.Generally rickshaw charges... More
