- bling82016Franklin, Australia35 contributionsA feast for the eyes.Notwithstanding the jewellery, the building is worth a visit in itself. The ornate but spectacular decorative exterior is an extraordinary feat of engineering and sculpture. As expected the interior is full of well executed jewellery but the best part is the museum, which houses examples of Balinese sculpture and semi precious stones in their natural state.Visited July 2023Travelled soloWritten 4 October 2023
- Travelling PixieAdelaide, Australia1,000 contributionsOutside better then inside!I don’t think our driver really knew what this was when he took us. The jewellery itself I didn’t think was anything too amazing and you felt shop assistants constantly watching you. However the highlight really was the outside of the building and the wonderful and funny sculptures. If nothing else it’s fun to stop for some photos.Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 12 January 2024
- Vincent vAmsterdam, The Netherlands24 contributionsSee the silver dragonsThe shop and museum are worth the visit. Those silver dragons are unbelievable and the detail on the keris is magnificent. Watching the workers make silver jewelry is very special. Prices in the shop are high but the choice is unbelievable.Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 17 May 2024
- Deidre MNicholson, Australia13 contributionsJust wow! Don’t miss it.From start to finish this place exceeded my expectations. On arrival you’re almost overwhelmed by a grand collection of sculptures at the entrance. They are cleverly curated, quirky and made with great skill and a playful sense of humour. From giant nymphs, pigs on bikes, and life sized frogs. No connection to the jewellery but does put a smile on your face. Inside there is such a vast selection of beautifully crafted jewellery, silver on the ground floor, gold upstairs and cocktails and food on the 3rd floor. We didn’t visit the factory area, or the 3rd floor. I think you might need a solid half day to see everything! Regardless of your personal taste in jewellery there is something for everyone at every price range. It helped that I had a photo of what I wanted so my personal assistant was able to direct me to those particular items. They are not even slightly pushy, just great customer service one on one. As you walk through the vast selection you can try on pieces, and if you like them, your assistant will carry them in a basket tray so it’s easy to shortlist and make your final selections. The items I purchased I’ve seen in Australia and in various quality jewellery shops in Bali. Those resellers shop here in bulk and on sell them. I love my 2 rings my husband bought me. Seriously don’t miss this experience but do have some ideas in mind or you will be in a head spin at the magnitude of choice.Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 30 May 2024

Visited this place as a part of Ubud day trip. A huge showroom of silver artefacts where you are also given a guided tour of silver jewellery making workshop. Nice collection bought a silver ring for myself

If you are in Bali and are looking for top quality silver jewellery, this is a place you should not miss. You’ll be spoilt for choice and the workmanship is excellent. Also appreciated the fact that the staff attending to me was never pushy and was only focused on showing me what I asked for. She even helped carry my options for me. Loved my buys and the place is very beautiful too. Would definitely recommend!

The merchandise are not cheap. But the quality is good. My wife bought bracelet that look similar we can find at Krisna, but the detail is much better here. The place is grand, the also have museum at the front. The also have cafe at the back.

When you first get there they take you to a factory to show you how hard people work to make the jewellery. Based on that you feel sorry and get tempted to buy something from the 2 floor shopping centre they have.
I personally found the factory experience nice but the stuff if you decide to buy very expensive. I find some of the things much cheaper to buy in UK than here.
You have somebody from the shop who walks with you and tells you how nice you would look with the jewellery on.
Wouldn’t recommend and would t come back.
There are toilet facilities and some selfie statues that are quite nice.

The only upside is the factory itself where they make the jewellery, however our “guide” or whatever he was supposed to be rushed us through and didn’t explain anything to us.
It would seem he was quickly ushering us to the store where he then awkwardly and very closely followed us around. Each time you stopped he would quickly jump in and grab the jewellery, asking if you want to buy. It was annoying and made the experience uncomfortable as you couldn’t enjoy at your own pace or stop to look at the the jewellery without him stepping in.
He must have got sick of us after 10 minutes and proceeded to show us towards the exit, forcing us to leave the store.
Rude staff and disappointing experience which could made nicer with a bit more effort. They might actually sell something.

We were excited about visiting the silver factory as we have been to several throughout the world. We were taken through the workplace and shown different aspects of silver making. Although the products were very nice they were a little expensive for Bali. I had already purchased John Hardy and Francesca in other parts of the island. They are the top of the line and were not much more expensive. We did find some nice necklaces for our granddaughters and daughters. The workers were in a very unhealthy environment. So much money has been spent on the exterior. More money should have been spent on the workplace to make it a healthier and more comfortable environment.

Our cab driver took us here and said we could see people making jewelry. He was right, the downstairs is full of artisans making jewelry which is then sold upstairs. They took us upstairs and let us look around, albeit with someone following us around the whole time. My wife found a nice silver bracelet that we purchased and they took it downstairs to have it fitted. They said it wouldn't be ready until later in the day and that they could bring it to my hotel. I was a little apprehensive about paying hundreds of dollars and then leaving empty handed, but they showed up to our hotel later that evening at the exact time they said. Overall very good experience!

We were taken to UC Silver factory as part of a tour and it was interesting to see how the jewellery was made and their collection of silver jewellery was immense, gold was very little. I ended up purchasing a silver ring for my partner to remember our Bali trip. The problem was in less than a fortnight the ring had two of the cz stones fell out. I didn't worry too much because I remember the saleslady telling us about their warranty. I immediately contacted the email address I was given and sent pictures of the ring and asking how I could return the ring for an exchange. That was five months ago. I am still waiting for a reply even though I email at least once a week. I would recommend anyone purchasing anything to get very clear instructions on how to return items that fall apart such as our ring.

Do not buy any jewellery from here. I bought a silver ring with a Turquoise stone for AUD $120 and after wearing for 2 days the stone fell out and was lost. I was very upset and I tried to email them twice and they have not responded. Very unprofessional. They say its under warranty but if they do not respond to my emails how can I claim anything back. Not happy.

Silvernya bagus2, hanya kurang sreg dgn staf yg melayani. Mereka lebih respect dgn tamu asing dibanding lokal. Padahal lokal blm tentu miskin loh.

Hi Rowzie, just to get an idea, how much did you pay for the silver heart ring???
Written 10 September 2016
Just letting you know you have asked the public and not any certain person - I found the jewelry to be hideously overpriced though
Written 26 October 2016
No. It's actually a retail jewelry store, so they are more than happy to let you in. The outside is wonderful and bizarre, and the interior continues the theme. No pressure to buy or anything. Definitely go in and walk around.
