What travellers are saying
- RamboNWAlbertaSpruce Grove, Canada652 contributionsWe stayed a block off the beach at the Prime Plaza Hotel. Easy walk there, restaurants, shops etc along the way.
Beach is busy area off this street and not as nice or kept up. Walking north to the right and along Sanur Beach gets to much better areas, nicer beach front, more sand and way more services.
This beach area has adjacent markets, restaurants, shops, mini marts, everything you need. Easy to rent out lounge chairs, umbrellas, etc. , easy water access and not overly busy..Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This is an absolutely necessary trip to educate yourself on sea life/ our endangered turtles.Written 13 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jessica B11 contributionsSuper efficient way to travel from Bali to the Gili Islands. Communication before hand was great, we were picked up at our hotel and the ferry left on time.Written 3 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - scubacol11Rotherham, UK1,975 contributionsThere are not many market stalls here, mainly food stalls serving a good range of street food at great prices, if you want shopping there are loads to choose from out on the main road. We only go for the Martabak which is like a big fried omelette with different fillings plus the banana and Nutella pancakes from the same stall, absolutely lush and great value.Written 23 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 2014FpvGtSwan View, Australia2,284 contributionsI didn't think this shopping center was much of a tourist attraction.
Just a large shopping center full of shops selling cars, home wares and people taking selfies that tourist are not interested in.
The TripAdvisor reviews and their own websites don't show anything exciting.
But this is a very exciting shopping center with many different restaurants.
Also jewelry shops, shoes, clothing, glasses and a large kids Funworld computer game center.
They will soon be opening a cinema too.
We should have gone here around 4Pm and had something to eat then watch some of the night time attractions out side like at the amphitheater.
Plus this place would look amazing all lit up at night.Written 20 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Beach has interesting rock groynes worth a walk and selfie if you’re inclined.
Fear this area will become on my to avoid list given that monstrous construction
of shopping mall and resort next to beach.
Will look more to central & south Sanur in future.Written 17 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The view was lovely from the centrepiece of the monument and the balinese story was interesting to read.Written 28 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zip_up_moveAhmedabad, India107 contributionsIt’s informative on plantation and Ingredients being grown in house the staff explains every detail of plants and process from fruit to beans to processing. The journey follows with free tasting of local tea and coffee brews but one has to pay idr 50k for a cup of lawak coffee which is normal for a person like but I tried it any which waysWritten 20 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia7,494 contributionsThis Square was included on our list of things to see during a visit to Denpasar. It can get be confusing without the services of a good driver and guide. There were probably no more than five or six people present when we visited mid morning. The area was clean and well maintained with a paved walkway leading to the imposing statue of Bajra Sandhi Monument which is not open to the visitor. Shame, as it was my prime purpose for the visit.Written 30 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RaymondaleKuala Lumpur, Malaysia1,207 contributionsthis temple,i meant pura rambut siri(without kaler) is located in the village of Yeh Embang Kangin in Jembrana recency, not in denpasar.Denpasar maybe has a temple (with kaler),but not a famous one,i think reviews here all are done for temple(without kaler)in Jembrana recency.TP has to be more professional. Pura Rambut Siwi is situated on a cliff top overlooking a black-sand beach, it was established in the 16th century by the priest Nirartha. this temple once ruined, and Nirartha took a lock of his hair to fix it.thats why this pura known as temple grown from hair. it is also believed that Nirartha left the lock of his hair in the temple to give protection for the villagers who were then struck by an unknown disease. This is why people come to this temple praying for protection.i revisited this temple in September this year.when i checked out of my hotel in Yeh Kuning,i had a tour, this is the second place i stopped. that time there is a ceremony,so many devotees come here.you can admire rice fields and ocean altogether here.the view is beautiful.there is a stairs to the beach,so i walked down, and went to the beach,i saw other caves temple there. there is a place to rest while enjoying the beauty of the sea view with the relaxing sounds of the waves.i hope TP will fix the wrong tittle and wrong info of the address in the future.Written 1 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
