There are several ladies outside working on the Batik process and at the loom. The downstairs showroom is packed with stuff. Tablecloths, cushion cases, bags, scarfs, wraps and bolt of cloth to name a few - all with beautiful designs and colors. But the big draw for us was upstairs where batik is done on either silk or cotton as wall hangings and gorgeous art. We wound up with several in a variety of sizes for gifts and ourselves plus a T-shirt. The prices seemed reasonable given the quality.

Fixed prices, expensive, enormous selection, quality varies enormously but with some perseverance you might find some good batiks here, both ready-mades and bolts of cloth. Ikat here is extremely overpriced, but their speciality after all is batik. Unobtrusive staff, some demonstration of batik dyeing technique outside. Conveniently near Ubud.

Great opportunity to understand the Batik art and cultural design. I have gotten a stunning art piece from here that still hangs beautifully in my room. Make sure you don't miss the art upstairs. There is a good selection of batik clothing and accessories. I had hoped to find a lot more batik material. I managed to get stunning print at a pretty decent price.

We were looking to buy some quality batiks and our driver took us here. It was great to see people making batiks and ikats outside and to learn the process. The store was also very big with a lot of varieties, though I won't say the patterns are that beautiful comparing to many we saw outside. I did not find too many I liked, only a dress and a scarf, but my family purchased over $600 USD worth of items and turned out that they only gave one shopping bag for each customers. When we asked for few more bags , the guy told us that each customer only gets one. We find it really ridiculous after spending so much money there. We did not buy them for ourselves only, some items were meant to be gifts so we did not understand why they could not give us few more shopping bags. We left the store with anger and told our driver. He also found it quite unbelievable so he asked him for a bag and at last he gave us. But he really left a bad taste for us and we will never come back again. I'm sure there are many other shops with better design and service around the neighborhood with much better price too.

Saw artists waxing designs on cloth with simple bamboo-and-metal pipes, and fabric weavers plying their craft. An extensive selection of patterns and colours, various fabrics, too. Upstairs (discovered almost too late), were many, many batik artworks. A shoppers' delight - we left with some beautiful pieces.

Here are the original Balinese batik weavers, so the quality used here is very good, we visited to see them working and there is also a shop so if you are interested you can buy directly

Beautiful batik. We really enjoyed seeing the demonstrations and the silk batik scarves are stunning. No they are not cheap, but they are high quality and you get what you pay for. These are handcrafted works of art.

Good quality and wide selection on batik dresses; while the selection for women is limited, men's' shirt collection is huge and very good.
Expensive and service could be better - staff had no interest in helping with shopping.

Showcasing the traditional way of creating batik in Indonesia with some ladies doing it outside that looks like a working area. We got to appreciate the hard work that comes in designing and creating 1piece. However, I find the price too steep for my budget.

No, they only have prefabricate clothes as far as I know
