Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came here with the expectation that this was a shopping mall as that what comes up on TripAdvisor. In fact it is plush hotel surrounded by many food outlets and a time zone. We did not go there to eat but if you are in jimbaran and sick of just beach fish food you will find plenty of variety here. The restaurants look classy so not sure about pricing. There are a few stairs around so not sure about navigating for disability access. We did stop for a milkshake with icecream of your choice which was nice

Quite nice place. Mostly here for the nail place.
Parking by their outdoor area, there’s no charges for it and also closer to their tenants.

Place is amazing with plenty of cafes, restaurants and stores. We tried wahaha which had amazing pork ribs and a Gelato place. There's also a store called krishna where you can get souvenirs.

Samasta is a nice little up market restaurant hub with a few other shops.
Best visited at night as the atmosphere & vibe is great.
Definitely worth a visit when in this area of Bali.

Got pickpocket by Arbian couple. (They said they from Saudi Arabia)
They approached by asking the way to Hallal. And then keep conversation by asking where i am from. And show me small bill of my country and ask for any other kind of bill just for taking photo. Thats how the guy lead me to pull out my wallet and money. And the guy grapped my money and i got it back. But somehow 300 dollars were gone just like magic eventhough i was watching. So just avoid and WATCH OUT!!!

Samasta used to be a small but nice shopping mall in the Jimbaran area, with a decent mix of restaurants, cafes and retail shoppes. The pandemic has changed that, as much as a few restaurants and cafes managed to survive, it has lost the supermarket and a variety of shops and cafes. With those vacant spaces and lack of visitors Samasta has lost some of its appeal - which hopefully comes back when the recovery picks up steam. Would like to see it back in action like in pre-pandemic times.

Returned here with family members after an absence of nearly three years and the pandemic. Samasta remains a strategic place for a quick shopping trip if one was staying at Movenpick Hotel or if one was in and around Jimbaran.
That said, I feel that Samasta has somewhat lost its luster. Favorite tenants such as Bebek Bengil, Wahaha, and Gaya Gelato are all still there. For a small shopping center, however, it has lost a few shops in the pandemic most notably the large Sereh Supermarket and this has made it not as impressive as I once had found it. Hopefully Samasta will regain its mojo as the situation recovers.

Which hotels are within walking distance to samasta village? Preferably inexpensive ones. I see the big names on the map ...
Intercontinental resort is about 10 min. away. I used to walk to the mall and come back to the hotel.

Hi, would like to know which is the best local food restaurant at the samasta village, and even some suggestions of place close to the movenpick resort will be a great help.
Is there any seafood restaurant in the nearby too.
Thank you in advance

The Jimbaran seafood cafes by the beach is nearby. Within the Samasta complex I think the Spanish and Korean outlets are the more popular ones but there is a Balinese outlet across the Spanish restaurant that seems pretty good.
