Kroya waterfall is one of the Aling Aling waterfalls. It is the one which you the option of going down like a waterslide. You must have a guide which is 125,000 per person and includes all of the watermarked, jumps, life vest and waterfalls. They know how to guide you down the slide safely. It was a lot of fun, a must do if you are in the area.

There are 8 waterfalls within Sambangan Area. Kroya Waterfall is one of them. This waterfall is fun for water activities as you
can jump from 5 or 10 or 15m Cliff. We also can do water slide from the waterfall.
You have Trekking options here.
Entrance Fee 10K, where you can Trekking the river from Entrance to Kroya 10 mins, then to Aling Aling for about 10 mins.
However you can not do water activities such as Swimming, Cliff Jumping, Watersliding.
Option 2, Pay 125k you get short trekking and water activities then see 4 waterfalls. Prepare to spend 1-3 hours
Long Trekking you can see 8 waterfalls but you have to pay extra, it’s around 350k. Prepare to spend 6-8 hours.
So basically these waterfalls are connected with each other as it goes down the same river flow.

There is a mandatory fee needed to visit this fall. If you are only trekking and do not want to get into the water, it is Rp20.000 per person and no guide will be provided. Other options include short trek Rp125.000, medium trek for approx 3 hours with 5 waterfalls at Rp250.000 and long trek at Rp500.000. All these come with the guide, donation to village, etc. If you are visiting alone, the is an additional charge of 60%.
I did the medium trek and enjoyed it. It was fun to swim in the waterfalls. My guide, Gede demonstrated the correct way to jump so that we do not get injured.
Life jackets are provided for the slide so that we do not injure our back.
Avoid the 15m jump if possible as tourists have injured their bones due to the impact when they do not jump correctly.

I visit Kroya waterfall for the first time in 2016 and sled down the mother nature's waterfall slide twice. On 2019 I got another opportunity to slide down the waterfall once again. The sensation is always new! challenging, daring, yet calming in the same time. Take your time playing waters here and sliding waterfalls or jump from cliffs!
