The Sanur Beach Promenade is lined with brightly painted outrigger boats along the water's edge, and good restaurants and cafes opposite. Treat yourself to a massage offered by one of the many masseuses with divans on the sand. If you're there in July, catch the Bali Kite Festival, a colorful international competition.

Amazing sunrise...free yoga on the beach early mornings out front of the Laghawa Resort...the boardwalk is lovely to ride bikes, run or walk at leisure! Sundays is the local day families come to swim! Nice to see everyone so happy and enjoying life

Sanur is good for those who like a slower and less crowded pace then Kuta. It's close to the airport, and a ride should cost around 150K rupiahs (AU$15). It has everything: great restaurants, good shopping, and most importantly clean beaches! The promenade along the beach is great on a bike and if your legs are sore, plenty of opportunities... More

It was a pleasure to come to this side of the island. The water was clean and the beaches tidy. Good food. What more do you want from a beach.

The beach of Sanur is far less crowded than the beach of Kuta. Along the beach is a sidewalk that is used both by walkers and bicycles. Bicycles can be rent at the beach. You can choose from many restaurants at the beach. If you do not stay in a hotel at the beach it might be a bit difficult... More

We travelled to Bali in Dec'16 and were advised by experts to pick a beach on the Eastern part of Bali, so as to avoid the dirt and debris brought in by the winds in the West coast. And true to our expectations, we found Sanur beach to be calm and very clean, with crystal clear water. There were lots... More

I hung out on the pier with the locals who were fishing that day. I can speak a little bahasa Indonesia, so was able to chit chat with them for a while. It was really fun! They were friendly and welcoming. The beach itself is a bit dirty, but it is still fun to watch the waves.

Sanur beach is calm and relaxing compared to Kuta. It's chill kind of beach. Sanur is great location for a relaxing holiday. It is away from the mayhem of Kuta. The beach walkway stretches from one end of Sanur to the other, and is a must. You will pass all the beach front bars and restaurants while walking. All good... More

Sanur Beach is a place I would have to liked to have seen more of, but only got to see where the boats to Nusa Lembongan and the other islands launch from. It is a bit rocky and tricky to get to the boats, but if you have time, there are a few places for food and drink.

This beach would be so beautiful, if not all that plastik and cigarets everywhere! Some parts of the beach are cleaned several times a day, but it does not help much.

The beach gently slopes due to a sand bar so is shallow to swim in for small children. Also it is not to busy. Not good for surfing but good for Children.
