The Sanur Beach Promenade is lined with brightly painted outrigger boats along the water's edge, and good restaurants and cafes opposite. Treat yourself to a massage offered by one of the many masseuses with divans on the sand. If you're there in July, catch the Bali Kite Festival, a colorful international competition.

Best beach we saw in Bali.

Cleanest beach we saw in Bali. Much better than.Jimbaran and Seminiyak. Less touristy than the west side of the island.

Sanur beach is relatively free of rubbish which is a huge bonus after visiting Kuta. There are lots of cheap warungs on the sand serving good food. Also many better quality restaurants looking out to the water. Love sitting here looking out to the beach especially at high tide.

I think Sanur is a hidden gem in Bali, There are less people on the beach and lots of stuff to keep you busy or rent a beach chair to lay by the uncrowded beach. We hired bikes and rode all along the Sanur beach pathway, It's amazing what you find and see along the way. We found little local... More

I visited Sanur Beach in the rain season. The beach was beautiful and calm. A lot of resorts around.

Hours of sunshine, sandy beach, protected swimming areas and a great view of the sunset. The beach front is shared by the resorts along it but generally safe but one cannot be too complacent.

Lovely clean beach. Not overcrowded. Surround by some really good restaurants with a beautiful walk along the foreshore or you can rent a bike.

The sand and water are great, the view (depending on the weather) can be fantastic. The only downside was the price of food/drink at the restaurants and bars and the permanent (pushy) people selling massages etc. Understandable, but somewhat annoying after a while.

Lovely beach in Sanur that has a great walking path from one end to the other - about 6 km long. There is some garbage along the sand that has washed up or been tossed, but because of all the resorts taking care of the beaches along here that they front there isn't much that is not kept up. Interesting... More

A lovely clean beach which isn't overcrowded. I would recommend bringing sea shoes as parts of it are quite stony when paddling in the water. A lot of water sports are available should you wish to try them.
