This is a nice temple to visit; not too touristy and it has enough to see and walk around outside it. One of the finer Hindu temples in the area; try catching the sunset view from here instead of crowded Tanah Lot.

Great opportunity for photos, but then again, everyone else thinks so too. Get there early or late in the evening for the best change of fewer people. Position of the sun is crucial too for the best pictures. We went in the morning and it was fine, but in the evening, the pictures were harder to take to capture the... More

Visiting this temple was made special by having a really good guide Kadek Pujana, he had a great sense of humour and lot of interesting information. Be careful getting caught in the market warren on the way out.

Very peaceful temple to visit. You are supplied with free sarong if you are not wearing long skirt, etc. If you want to enter water though, take your own.

Balinese people call this temple as Pura Saraswati, and she's known as the goddess of education. This temple located in the heart of Ubud - next to Starbuks Coffee shop. They open it for public everyday (as long as there is no serious/important ceremony happaening). Inside the temple you can find two big ponds that full with beautiful lotus in... More

The temple is in side street of the main road but a fascinating discovery. There is a temple that is surrounded by a pond filled with water lilies and lotus flowers. It's a pretty place for some nice photos. There is also a nice cafe right beside the temple.

As it was next door to our accommodation (Puri Saraswati), we went to explore it one morning and it was lovely & serene. No entry fee and beautiful lotus ponds and temple in the back. In the evenings, they have Balinese shows on which are worth a visit. If you stay next door, you can watch quietly from our side... More

Nice temple situated in the city center. Strange though amidst the noise of the city the temple is quite quiet and serene. You should take photos with the lotus in the pond. Recommended for first time travelers.

Serene and beautiful, the lotus pond added something special to this temple dedicated to the goddess of knowledge and wisdom (and art! which is why this temple feels very much at home in Ubud). There's a nice cafe around the pond for a quick rest.
